Molly’s Minute: Never Rejected By Jesus

In the eighth grade, I got cut from my club soccer team.

It was my first real experience with rejection. And the feeling stuck with me. For a while, I didn’t want to try out for any other teams, because I didn’t want to get cut again.

After we’ve felt the sting of rejection, it can become something we fear and try to avoid.

But there is someone with whom there is no fear of rejection.

In the gospel of John, Jesus says, “…the one who comes to me I will never send away.”

When we believe in Jesus and present ourselves to Him, He accepts us. Even though we could never be good enough.

Jesus was good enough for all of us, so that we can all go to Him and be accepted.

So, don’t be afraid to present yourself to Jesus today, to put it all on the table in front of Him. Because He is the only one who will never send you away.

John 6:37 “Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never send away.”
