Molly’s Minute: There’s No Mistake Beyond God’s Grace

A few years ago, I went to one of those group painting classes with some family. And I kid you not, five minutes into this painting, I made a mistake.
I was convinced that I had ruined the whole thing. But when the leader of our class took a look, she said, “You didn’t ruin it. I can fix this.”
She picked up her brush, and with a few strokes, she did just that. She fixed my mistake and saved my painting.
The mistake that I thought had been catastrophic wasn’t beyond help in her hands.
And in God’s hands, there is no mistake beyond grace.
1 John 1:9 says that “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
There is no mistake we could make that God cannot forgive.
So, let’s bring our mistakes—no matter how big they are—before Him today, so He can cover them with His amazing grace.
