Molly’s Minute: No Fear Of The Storm
In Matthew chapter eight, Jesus and the disciples are in a boat, crossing the sea, when a big storm rolls in.
The disciples see the storm all around them—the wind and the waves—and they’re afraid.
But when they share their fear with Jesus, He responds, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” And immediately calms the storm.
The storm that the disciples faced was undoubtedly intimidating.
But it wouldn’t have been able to shake them if they had remembered who was with them in that boat.
And no storm will be able to shake us if we can remember the same thing.
Our God is good. He goes with us always. And He has the power over every storm we face in this life.
So, whatever storm we face today, let’s be confident in who is with us and in control of it all. And let’s face that storm without fear.
