Molly’s Minute: No Day Is Just An Ordinary Day
I’ve always loved scavenger hunts. Partly because I’m competitive and I like to find things that nobody else finds.
But mostly because they make you see everything with a new perspective. Ordinary places become potential hiding places. You look at everything more carefully and with more anticipation and excitement than usual.
Because you never know where or when you might find something.
Every day, before we get up in the morning, God has the entire day planned for us. And every day, He hides little opportunities for us to connect with Him everywhere.
A difficult moment here where we can seek His guidance and peace. A quiet moment there where we can spend some extra time with Him.
No day is “just a regular day.”
Every day is a scavenger hunt, organized by Him.
So, let’s be looking—closely and hopefully—for the things He’s hidden for us today.
