Molly’s Minute: Turn The Page

Over the past few months, I’ve taken up journaling. Those quarantine hobbies, you know?
I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to keep it up at first, but I love it so much that I have. I always look forward to writing in my journal.
Because, at the end of each day, I can write down everything that happened—every triumph and every failure—and then, I can turn to a new page.
I can look at everything I experienced that day, leave it all behind, and look forward to the blank slate in front of me the next day.
And today, you can do the same thing.
Lamentations chapter three tell us that God’s mercies for us are new every morning.
Each day is a blank page. A chance to start over.
So, whatever problems you’ve faced today, whatever battles you lost, however many times you fell short, you can leave it all in today. Turn the page and embrace God’s new mercies for you tomorrow.
Lamentations 3:22-23 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
