Molly’s Minute: Never Too Needy For Jesus

During my sophomore year of college, I found myself really struggling in my Chemistry course.
But luckily, I had a friend who was great at Chemistry.
He told me to come to him for help any time. And I did—almost daily.
I actually started to feel bad about how much I was relying on him. But when I tried to apologize, my friend stopped me.
He said, “Molly, you’re not bothering me! I told you to come to me for help because I wanted to help you.”
And Jesus’ heart for us is much the same.
In John chapter seven, Jesus says, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
You can never be too needy for Jesus. He’s told us to come to Him whenever we need to, and He means it.
So today, don’t be afraid to lean heavily on Jesus, to run to Him over and over again. Because He never gets tired of lifting you up.
John 7:37-38 “On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, “Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”’”
