Molly’s Minute: Never Left Alone

Probably one of the scariest experiences of my life was getting lost in the store as a kid.
I’d gotten distracted looking at something on the shelves. And when I turned around, I couldn’t see my mom anywhere.
I walked up and down the aisles, getting more and more panicked as I went, until finally, I turned a corner.
And there she was.
I told her I thought she had left without me. But she said, “Molly, of course I didn’t leave. I would never leave you here on your own.”
And God tells us the same thing.
In Joshua 1:5, He says, “I will be with you. I will never leave you or forsake you.”
God promises to never, ever leave us on our own. Even on the days when we can’t feel Him, He is still there.
So if He feels distant today, keep pursuing Him. Keep running up and down those aisles. He’s there. Maybe just around the next corner.
