Molly’s Minute: God Has A Good Purpose For You

My husband, Vaughn, is one of the most creative people I know. He loves to make things—but not just for the sake of making them.
He’ll make a piece of artwork as a gift for someone he loves. Or he’ll 3D print a replacement part to fix his phone. Or he’ll build some kind of contraption around the house to simplify a task.
Vaughn creates a lot of things. But he creates everything with a very specific purpose in mind.
And that’s also how God created us.
Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
God doesn’t create anything, including people, for no reason. Before you even walked this Earth, God had a good purpose prepared for your life.
So if you’re questioning your purpose today, I’d encourage you to remember that. That you are here, that God created you, because He has good works prepared just for you.
