Molly’s Minute: Inconvenience Or Opportunity? That’s Up To Us
I gotta tell you, I’ve been so tired of how much rain we’ve been getting lately.
The cloudy, dreary, rainy days had really been getting me down…
Until today.
And no, not just because it’s sunny today and the rain is gone. But because today, I saw all the flowers and beautiful green plants that have sprung up because of the rain.
See, I could complain about the rain because of how it makes me feel, or I could see the good that comes from it.
The same thing is true about our situation right now.
We could say that quarantining is inconvenient because of all the things we can’t do…
Or, we could approach it as an opportunity.
An opportunity to get some needed rest, to spend more time with family, to try new things with the people we love, to check in with people we haven’t talked to in a while.
Life is 10% what we get and 90% how we respond.
So, inconvenience or opportunity? That’s up to us!
