Molly’s Minute: In The Changing Seasons

It’s difficult to tell by the heat we’ve been having, but fall will be upon us before we know it.
And while I would say that fall is one of my favorite seasons, the transition to fall can get me down. Fall means leaving behind the long, fun days of summer and bracing for the cold, dark days of winter to come.
Navigating a change in seasons can be hard, and in life, circumstances change all the time. But we do have a constant through all that change.
At the very end of the book of Matthew, Jesus speaks this promise:
“And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
-Matthew 28:20
In every high and low, through every season, God is there. He’s constant. To the very end, He will continue to be a steady presence to lean on.
So, however things are changing for you, my friend, I’d encourage you to lean into the One who has promised to stay the same. Even if everything else changes or falls away, He will be there.
