Molly’s Minute: In The Best Hands

One day back in middle school, a friend asked to borrow something of mine that was pretty important to me:
My favorite book.
I went ahead and lent it to her, trusting that she’d take care of it.
But she didn’t.
When she returned the book, I saw that she’d bent and scratched the cover and dog-eared and torn the pages. And I regretted ever placing it in her hands.
We might have to worry sometimes about the things we give to other people.
But we never have to worry about the things we give to God.
Psalm 25 says, “Lord, I put my life in your hands. I trust in you, my God, and I will not be disappointed.”
If we give something to God, He will not let us down. It won’t get dented or scratched or torn. He will take better care of it than we ever could.
So, whatever’s worrying you today, my friend, trust Him with it. If it’s in His hands, it’s in good hands.
Psalm 25:1-3 “Lord, I put my life in your hands. I trust in you, my God, and I will not be disappointed. My enemies will not laugh at me. No one who trusts in you will be disappointed.”
