Molly’s Minute: God Finishes What He Starts

How many projects would you say you’ve left unfinished in your lifetime?

For me, the answer is, “More than I can count.”

Fitness challenges, art projects, books—I always start off strong. But then my interest and motivation start to fade. And one day, I put the project down, and never pick it up again.

You and I, we’re human. So, we don’t finish everything we start.

But God isn’t like us.

Philippians 1:6, “he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…”

If God starts a project, that means He’s going to finish it.

He doesn’t lose interest, He doesn’t lose motivation, He doesn’t ever quit—God always finishes what He starts.

So, He will finish what He started in you. His work in and through you is not done yet.

Philippians 1:6 “…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
