Molly’s Minute: Faithful In The Small Things
My husband Vaughn recently brought one of our house plants back to life.
Seriously, it went from this bunch of brown, lifeless twigs to a huge plant with tons of big, beautiful green leaves.
That big change didn’t happen overnight, though.
Every day, Vaughn made sure our plant got the sunlight it needed. And every week, he would give it the water it needed. And a few weeks later, it was a whole new plant.
So many of us are waiting for a big change from God in our lives.
But while we’re waiting for that big thing, we can’t forget about the small things.
Just like what Vaughn did daily and weekly for our plant completely transformed it over time, the little things we do every day and every week help us work toward the bigger change we want to see.
So, let’s be faithful in the small things today, while we wait on big things from God.
