Molly’s Minute: Even When We Can’t See It, He Is Faithful

I had a conversation recently with someone who was feeling frustrated with God.
They’d been asking God for things that they weren’t seeing Him provide. And as time passed, they had started to doubt that He is really faithful, that He really keeps His promises.
It’s difficult to believe in God’s faithfulness when we aren’t seeing evidence of it in our lives.
But God’s faithfulness is not dependent on how often He gives us what we ask for.
God’s faithfulness is constant. Because that is who He is.
In Exodus 34:6, God calls Himself a God “abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness…”
We can be one hundred percent sure that God is faithful, even when we can’t see it in our lives, because He has told us that He is. And if God says something, it’s true.
So today, let’s dare to have faith, whether we can see it now or not, that God is who He says He is. That He is faithful.
