Molly’s Minute: Even Now, We Lack Nothing

What are you craving these days?
And I don’t mean, “What are you hungry for?” I mean, what are you yearning for?
Time with family, maybe? Returning to work as usual? Maybe something simple like going out to eat or getting a haircut?
Maybe it’s all of those things. For me, it is.
We’re yearning for a lot these days because we’re living without a lot these days.
But I want to remind you today that even in times when we don’t have everything we’re used to having, we have everything we need.
We don’t have to wait for this to end to be content again.
In the NIV version of the Bible, Psalm 23:1 says, “The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” If we flip that to the positive, it says, “The LORD is my shepherd, I have everything.”
So, if you’re feeling like you’re lacking something today, I’d encourage you to go to God and ask to receive what you need. Because He’ll give it to you.
With Him, even when we feel like we have nothing, we have it all.
