Molly’s Minute: Today’s Strength Is Not For Tomorrow’s Problems

I’m a bit of a planner.
Okay, I’m a lot of a planner. I like to have a rough plan for my day about three days in advance.
It’s hard not to think about tomorrow. We like to use today to plan out how we’re going to get everything done and tackle all the problems we’ll have tomorrow.
But there’s a quote I love from Craig Groeschel that says, “Don’t try to tackle tomorrow’s problems with today’s strength. When tomorrow becomes today, God will give us the strength we need.”
There’s a reason God gave us 24-hour days. Because every 24 hours, He strengthens us again.
God always gives us the strength we need for the day. So, let’s use today’s strength on today’s problems, and leave tomorrow’s problems for tomorrow’s strength.
Psalm 68:19 “Praise be to the Lord, to God our savior, who daily bears our burdens.”
