Molly’s Minute: Do Not Fear; He Is With You

Towards the middle of my senior year of high school, a letter from my dream college arrived in the mail.

I knew that letter would tell me whether I had been accepted or not. And I was too scared to open it by myself.

So, I asked my parents to open it with me. And with them by my side, I had the confidence to rip open the envelope and find out that I’d been accepted.

Facing a scary moment is always easier when there’s someone facing it with us.

And there is someone who goes with us always.

Joshua 1:9 “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid… For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Everywhere we go, God goes with us. Everything we have to face, He helps us face it.

So, if you find yourself faced with fear today, remember that you aren’t facing it alone. Our almighty God is with you.
