Molly’s Minute: Breaking Bad Habits
Have you ever tried to quit a bad habit? If you have, you know that it is hard.
We’ve all got those little bad habits like cracking our knuckles, biting our nails, and spending too much time on social media.
And it’s hard enough to stop doing those. I’ve been trying to stop picking my nails for literal years.
But the bigger bad habits—the big ways we mess up regularly—are even harder to quit.
Especially when we try to quit them on our own.
I want to tell you that if you’re stuck in a bad habit, God will help you quit it. He sees you and all of your bad habits, He loves you anyway, and He wants to help you break out of those habits. He will give you the perseverance you need to shake them off.
So, accept His help today, and believe that He can bring you victory over your bad habits.
Matthew 9:28-29 When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” And they said to him, “Yes, Lord.” Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.“
