Molly’s Minute: Always Invited In

Can you think of a time when someone made you feel included?
You’d been on the outside looking in—wondering how you could get an invitation—when they made the first move.
They stretched out a hand to you and invited you in, and you weren’t an outsider anymore. All of a sudden, you belonged.
That’s exactly what Jesus did for us on the cross.
Before that, we were on the outside looking in. Our sin and our shame made it so that we couldn’t enter into God’s house.
But when Jesus sacrificed his life for us, He washed us clean. He flung those doors open forever.
And now, we’re always included.
So, if you’re feeling left out or on the outside today, I would encourage you to reach out to Him, take His hand, and let Him bring you in.
Ephesians 2:19 “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God…”
