Matthew West And The God Who Stays
Matthew West never runs out of beautiful things to say. From the treasure chest of his own faith and the stories of others, he’s written so many songs for himself to sing. He’s also written tunes for artists, including Casting Crowns, Anne Wilson, Jeremy Camp, Mandisa, Tasha Layton, Danny Gokey, and so many more.
It’s a rare thing to go a whole morning of listening to BRIGHT-FM and NOT hear a song that Matthew West was involved in creating. How does he do that?
And now he’s released his new book, The God Who Stays…a book, as he says “with real words and no pictures!”
I am so excited to share this conversation with my friend Matthew West about the rhythm of his life as a writer and a man who is just so in love with Jesus.
He never runs out of things to sing. Matthew says, he writes the songs he needs to hear.
