Dad Raises Money For Charity With Wonky Pet Portraits

Paul Heckles wouldn’t call himself an artist per se. But his works of art are garnering a lot of attention.
A few weeks ago, Paul had the idea to raise money for charity by drawing pictures of peoples’ pets. And he’s raised over $20,000 to help end homelessness in his area.
The special thing about these portraits?
They’re wonky.

Honestly though, neither one of us could do any better.
Paul jokes that each commissioned portrait is £299 (or $389.33), but he actually doesn’t charge anything. He simply requests that those who receive portraits make a donation to Turning Tides, an organization that works to end homelessness in the UK.
