Java Vs. Jesus: What’s Filling Your Cup?

I have a shirt that says, “All I need is a coffee and Jesus.” I love it and it makes me smile. I do love me some coffee and Jesus. But I always say that I should switch the order – I need Jesus and coffee. Jesus comes first.

Well… that was tested this morning. The Keurig didn’t work. I thought about making a fresh pot but I would have had to grind the beans and I as I thought about all the steps involved to getting my cup of coffee – I could see my window of time with Jesus 1st thing this morning, just slipping away.

So… I went without the coffee. A morning without coffee is not preferred – but a morning without some time with Jesus is not even tolerable.
The best part of waking up is when Jesus fills your cup 😉
