Jamie Kimmett In Serious Car Crash

On August 23rd, Jamie Kimmett’s team shared that he had been involved in a terrible crash driving home from a concert in Arkansas.
His car was struck by an 18-wheeler, and Jamie was airlifted to a nearby hospital where doctors were able to stabilize him and described his survival as “1000-1.” The picture of his vehicle is stunning.
Because Jamie is from Scotland and has no health insurance, his team set up a GoFundMe on his behalf.
Jamie later posted a picture of himself, thanking fans for giving, and asked for prayers for his continued recovery. “I have painful cuts, bruising, stitches, muscle/joint pain and still picking glass & concrete off my head and body…but given the odds of survival, this is truly amazing. Please pray my left hand and thumb (guitar chord hand) in particular will heal as it’s badly cut and stitched up,” he tells fans.
In spite of those injuries, Jamie knows and is grateful to be alive today because of God’s grace. “PRAISE GOD!! HE HAS SPARED MY LIFE BY A MIRACLE! So grateful to be alive and so grateful for every one of you who have prayed for me, sent messages, left comments, and donated at this time. Your kindness and support is overwhelming!”
