Is God Hiding From Me?

I love sunsets. A good sunset is one of my favorite things.

However, a few months ago, I felt as if I hadn’t seen a sunset in forever. It wasn’t that the weather was cloudy or that the sun was hiding from me; it was that I had stopped looking.

Sometimes we don’t see things in life because we aren’t looking for them.

This goes for God too.

God is always at work in each of our lives. Protecting us, answering prayers, sending us blessings, and so much more. But sometimes, we get so busy with day-to-day activities that we forget to look for God. He isn’t hiding from us. We just aren’t looking for Him. This week, challenge yourself to look for God in everything. He is all around you, waiting to be found.

“But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.” – Deuteronomy 4:29
