Back in February, the BRIGHT-FM team was busy collecting non-perishable food at a Pantry Project in Laurel. All the items given to this particular food collection would be donated to Fish of Laurel, a pantry which makes about 150 meals per day to feed people suffering from food insecurity.

Amazing, right?

Well, Jeanette heard about this event and decided to get to work collecting food. The only catch is…Jeanette doesn’t live anywhere near Laurel where BRIGHT-FM was receiving donations. That didn’t stop her, though! Jeanette spent all week prior to the Pantry Project gathering canned goods, cereals, snacks, and more; In fact, she got together enough food that all the items wouldn’t even fit in a grocery cart!

Despite the distance, Jeanette didn’t wait for the Pantry Project to come to her area, instead, she loaded up that large amount food into her car and drove all the way from Kingsville to make her donation.

We are so incredibly thankful for Jeanette’s heart and dedication to serve others. The BRIGHT-FM community continues to amaze us with the way you step up for events like the Pantry Project and become the hands and feet of Christ. YOU make hope louder and help us to continue spreading the love of Jesus!

We couldn’t do it without you.
