DIY Shamrock Shake That Rivals McDonald’s

Every year when March rolls around, McDonald’s graces the world with its beloved Shamrock Shake. Numerous fast-food joints, like Arby’s and Dairy Queen, have tried to mimic this shake, but it’s just never the same coming from somewhere other than the golden arches.
However, Delish has come up with a dupe to the Shamrock Shake that will save you a trip to Mcdonald’s and have you making minty milkshakes year-round.
Ingredients:
3 large scoops vanilla ice cream
1/4 c. heavy cream
6 drops green food coloring
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
Whipped cream
Directions: After you’ve gathered and measured out all your ingredients, the directions are pretty simple: all you need to do is put all your ingredients (minus the whipped cream) into a blender and let it work its magic until it’s smooth.
Finally, just top it off with a little *or A LOT* of whipped cream. You can also add a cherry on top if you’re feeling extra fancy.
Voila, you’re now a Shamrock Shake master – enjoy your new #ChefStatus
