Community Celebrates Crossing Guard On His 80th Birthday

Alec Childress, a crossing guard in Wilmette, Illinois, just received the sweetest surprise.

Over 100 children, parents, family members, and church friends gathered to celebrate Alec on his 80th birthday.

They even got him a birthday present—a street sign to mark the spot where he has served as a crossing guard for 14 years.
