Check Out What God Did This Summer!
Summer is officially over. Crazy, right?
As we head into fall, we want to take a moment to give God glory for all that He did the past few months. We are blessed that He chose to work through BRIGHT-FM and our amazing listening community, so we want to take some time to brag about Him!
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! “- Ephesians 3:20
September Pantry Projects
In the month of September, BRIGHT-FM and Rosedale Baptist Church held THREE different van stops where people came out and donated items for food pantries throughout Maryland. Each stop was a huge success and it was overwhelming to witness how many people reached into their pantries and took time out of their days to provide a helping hand. Thanks to generous listeners like you, we were able to donate hundreds of food items to the St. Elizabeth Food Bank, helping them to be fully stocked to feed those in need this upcoming season! We are in awe of how God showed up. He is faithful to provide, just like the Bible promises us.
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19)
August Classroom Collection
Not only did God provide food for pantries, He also so faithfully provided school supplies for teachers and students. Teachers work incredibly hard to foster a safe and effective learning environment for students. Many teachers pay for classroom supplies out of their own pockets to ensure that their students have everything they need; That is why this August’s Classroom Collection tried to take some of the burden off of teachers by gathering donations of the supplies they need most! Once again, the BRIGHT-FM community came out in BIG ways. Binders, folders, paper, writing supplies, fun classroom prizes…you name it, it was donated! God did some AMAZING things this summer, and we are so excited to follow His lead and see what else He will do this fall. We also want to thank YOU for how you donated, prayed, and supported these efforts and responded to God’s invitation to serve. We couldn’t have done it without our BRIGHT-FM family.
