Bills Fans Donate To One Of Lamar Jackson’s Favorite Charities After The QB’s Injury

If you watched the Ravens game Saturday, you know that it didn’t end the way any Baltimore fan would have hoped. On top of a tough loss, Lamar Jackson, the quarterback we all know and love, got a concussion in the last play of the third quarter.
There was, however, a silver lining to Saturday. After the game, Buffalo Bills fans, also known as “Bills Mafia,” began donating to Blessings In A Backpack, one of Lamar Jackson’s favorite charities.
Since Saturday night, Bills fans have come through in a big way, giving over $360,000 to the charity which works to provide food on weekends to kids who rely on school meals throughout the week. This gesture is not out of the ordinary for the Buffalo fanbase; they have become known for donating to charities in honor of numerous players throughout the years.
The over 11,000 separate donations will go towards meals for kids in need, an impact that reaches far beyond the football field. To make it even better, the Ravens Flock has repaid the favor by donating to The Patricia Allen Fund, a cause started to honor the late grandmother of Buffalo Bills quarterback, Josh Allen.
