Little Boy Finds Best Friend In Puppy Who Has Cleft Lip Just Like Him

When Brandon Boyers walked into the Jackson County Animal Shelter in Michigan, he thought he’d be walking out with two chickens. But instead, he left with a new best friend for his two-year-old son, Bentley.

Bentley was born with cleft lip. So, when Brandon found a two-month-old puppy at the shelter that also had cleft lip, he had to get her. He knew they’d be a perfect match!

Bentley was introduced to the puppy, and the two loved each other instantly.

It’s so hard to put into words how meaningful this adoption is to all of us so we are going to let the pictures speak…

Bentley’s mom, Ashley, says that she hopes owning the puppy will help Bentley know that he isn’t alone in his journey with cleft lip.

They are so adorable together!
