A Moment With God

Do you ever wake up to the buzz of your alarm in the morning and before you realize it, you’re at your destination and already getting started on your tasks for the day? It’s like you don’t even remember the drive there or how you managed to get ready and get out the door.
The fast-paced nature of life rarely gives us time to simply sit and be still. The act of stillness is certainly not easy when we all have important demands and obligations coming at us from every angle.
However, sometimes the most important thing we can do is trade in the to-do lists, if even just for a minute, and be still in the presence of God.
“Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.” – Psalm 62:5-6
Let’s follow the lead of Psalm 62 today and take some time to wait quietly before God, even if just for a moment. That moment could be just what you needed and God is waiting to meet you there.
