A Better Outcome

“Okay so, number of years ago I was making a special dinner for my mom and some girlfriends. It was New Year’s Eve, I had the recipe book out and carefully got, just beautiful ingredients to make a Fettuccine Carbonara. Only I had to like, triple the recipe to feed all the people that were coming. Here’s one thing you should never triple in a recipe…red pepper flakes.

Oh my goodness, it looked perfect. But when they took a bite, I mean, everyone was trying to be so polite and protective of my feelings. But it was like, oh my gosh my mouth is on fire.

And I watched everybody like guzzle their water to try to just, breathe. Yeah don’t triple the red pepper flakes.

Whenever you want to cook something that’s delicious, and nutritious, the ingredients – what you put into it, it matters right? It affects the outcome. Like most things in life. Why do we think, as human beings, like our souls, would be any different than that?

What you put into you, affects what comes out of you. What you put into your ears, I’m convinced, what you listen to, it can shape the way that you think, the way that you feel, all of it, and so that’s why I want to invite you to try something, it’s something we call the 30 day challenge.
