7th Annual Comfort Cases Gala Backyard BBQ

This year’s Comfort Cases gala looks and feels a little different but will remain a major fundraiser and awareness campaign for the nonprofit as they continue to provide much needed backpacks filled with personal items to youth in foster care. The 7th Annual Comfort Cases Gala Backyard BBQ will be a family-friendly event taking place on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 1-5 p.m. at the Tusculum Farm. (4601 Damascus Road, Laytonsville, MD 20882.) The event will feature catered food, beer and wine, outdoor games, a magician, silent auction items, a volunteer awards ceremony, a scholarship announcement and entertainment by The Como Brothers and Sharane Calister, Season 14 of NBC’s The Voice singer and songwriter. The Annual Gala celebrates the incredible work that has been done in the community to bring dignity and hope to youth in foster care, and to raise funds to ensure this important work continues. Since 2013, Comfort Cases has distributed over 140,000 Comfort Cases and Comfort XL duffel bags to children in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia.
